top 10 greatest guitar solos of all time

in the '60s and '70s, the guitar solo was at its apex. many of the finest guitarists of that era honed and perfected this aspect of their craft. they were oftentimes pushed by their peers to develop new and intricate sounds in order to receive their respect as a true musician. currently, the guitar solo is a dying as an art. at first it's difficult to understand why [since many people enjoy them], but then the realization comes that a good guitar solo requires much more skill than what most talentless mainstream musicians actually possess. with that being said, following guitar solos aren't necessarily the fastest, nor are they always the most melodic; what makes these solos the ten best is almost unexplainable. attempts can be made to describe why they're so great, but i think only by listening can we fully understand their true beauty.

my first thought is the striking resemblance between this blog's author and the posted picture. perhaps, i've found another pair that was separated at birth.

first, i would usually argue this with limeade, as it is written into the contract of our relationship, but the more i look at the picture, the more i see it. i can't believe i didn't notice that before.

second, you must be out of your mind to think that danzig's mother would be on this list. that song wasn't even anywhere near the radar.

i predict happy ninja is indeed very happy that he looks like a true guitar hero.

yeah i was actually kidding. i mean, what is that "solo", like 8 seconds or something? but i will come up with some kind of top 10 where mother can be on the list. this is my goal. i shall not rest.

i cannot lie, i am ecstatic to discover that i resemble a guitar god.

i can already think of several lists that would include mother, including 'top 10 songs i've heard at least 10 times in a row shortly after waking up' and 'top 10 songs that stretches creasy bear's pants.'

and i knew you were kidding about mother having a top 10 solo, but i had to put that song in its place.
